The main theme of the 5th edition of the report is the new regulatory requirements and their impact on telecommunications companies in the SME sector. We discuss, among other things, the results of a survey involving nearly 200 operators.
The findings indicate that while small and medium operators appreciate the increasing openness of the public sector to consultations with the industry, they sometimes struggle to see the purpose of the legislative changes being introduced and have difficulties interpreting them. They primarily face high costs associated with adapting to the new requirements. One in five companies allocated more than 20,000 PLN to comply with the new regulations. This represents a significant burden for small and medium telecommunications entrepreneurs, who often had to rely on paid legal and IT services.
Detailed survey results, as well as practical guidance on the introduced legislation, voices from representatives of economic chambers and operators, and descriptions of modern telecommunications tools and solutions can be found in the report „What’s Up Wholesale?”.
